Mentoring and inspiring

From studio talks and ‘live’ briefs to mentoring interns, I love to share inspiration and learnings.

One of my fave projects is an exciting, ongoing collaboration with D&AD – running talks, panel sessions and workshops as part of the New Blood Festival.

We invited and worked alongside top creatives from Taxi Studio, Twitter, Innocent, Instagram with the aim of inspiring, connecting and creating cool things. And we did.

Disco, disco, disco, disco

Bringing on board a number of collaborators, I led a piece of design with a difference to help raise awareness for the Great Big Rhino Project – a national public art event run by Paignton Zoo.

The aim was to generate a buzz and create some engagement. Sketches, prototypes, and hack days led to a tweet activated light-up rhino, able to display various patterns and animations.

The rhino then went on tour to numerous public spaces including Exeter Library, University and Museum before ending up in the final parade. And the disco continues…
