Great – it’s about time they released an #emoji I can use…
Hot on the heels of our D&AD New Blood session alongside Instagram, we [Met Office] took a 7-hour brief to the design students at University of Gloucester in Cheltenham.
Absolutely loved prepping and leading the day-long session in their studio, working with our special guests, Bristol agency Workbrands – we shared inspiration, set mini-challenges, visualised our ‘social worlds’ and worked together on ‘designing the weather’.
So important to help the students think about designing for and communicating on social media and mobile, along with the challenges and opportunities that brings. So rewarding to see the students get stuck in – listening, questioning and creating so many ideas in such a short space of time.
If there are any other Uni lecturers out there that like the sound of our Design Studio running a session with you, give me a shout. Spread the word…
Playing around with a #drone …it can capture some unbelievable footage…
Such steady, smooth, high quality imagery, giving a totally different view of places that can look quite similar when photographed on the ground. A totally unique angle on things from up high.
